Record iPhone Calls with CallRecorder Cydia Tweak

Call recording have always been a feature that smartphone users always crave for. iPhone has been lacking this feature from quite sometime now, although Cydia developers have been working in this category for long, but no out-of-the-box Call recorder was available. But the wait is finally over, Elias Limneos, a popular Cydia developer has dished out a Call Recorder tweak that will enable iPhone 5/4S users to record calls on their iPhone’s.
Although Call recorders have been under fire by privacy advocates, but for all the users who were longing for it, the wait is finally over. The CallRecorder tweak developed by Elias has been sent for the subsequent approval to Bigboss and later on it will be uploaded to the official repo as per the Elias tweet on Twitter. The Tweak at present is priced at $3.99 and it is compatible with both the iPhone 4S and iPhone5. Both these devices mainly support this tweak because of the built-in audio codecs and other requisite support. The older iPhone models won’t be compatible with Call Recorder tweak.

Things you must know before Installing CallRecorder Cydia Tweak

Call recorder for iPhone is a paid app, but you can still download it for freefrom alternative cydia sources like insanelyi. Well things are not that simple as far as CallRecorder tweak is considered, the moment you start the CallRecorder tweak, a voice-notification will be sent to the receiver that this call is being recorder. Elias has clearly identified that this feature can’t be shed-off because in most of the countries call recording is illegal without both the parties knowing about it. On iPhone4 the recording is only available when you switched to Speaker, in iPhone5 users can record call on both the speaker and receiver. Here are some more cydia tweaks that you should know about:
Over all, it’s a tweak that you have been waiting for. Make sure that you use it for fair purposes.
