How to Add Cydia Sources for new Cydia Apps

Here at CydiaGuide, we keep covering various news related to Cydia and this is time for learning how to add Cydia sources. We have already covered best Cydia sources and many new cydia users asked, how to add those repo on their Cydia. If you are new to jailbroken iOS device, I would suggest you to read:

I will add screenshot, which will help you to understand in step and later on a video will make it easier to understand how you can add repo to Cydia.
Open Cydia on your jailbroken device and click on Manage. Under manage tab > Click on Sources

Under Cydia Sources tab, you will notice all the previously added repo. You will be seeing some of the default repo or any other source address, which you might have added in the past. Here click on Edit and then Add.

Once you click on Add, a popup box will open up like this as shown in below screenshot: Add Cydia/APT URL there. For ex: Cydia.iphonecake.com

Click on add source and you might get a Cydia source warning, which is like a long disclaimer we read while installing any software. But the point here is, only add reputable and trusted repo to cydia. One thing which you should keep in mind, when you are adding a new repo to Cydia, don’t close the Cydia or use any other application. Some time, it get stuck and it takes time while adding Cydia sources, try not to do anything, as this may cause issues with your iPhone. Rest, the process is simple and easier to follow.
